We buy our cakes from a Kosher bakery. Jews who keep a Kosher kitchen can't eat dairy and meat in the same meal, thus there are bakeries out there that make cakes without milk! If you can't find one in your phone book, call one of the local synogogues and they'll be able to direct you to the right place. We love the cakes that come from our Kosher bakery--no one can believe that they don't have dairy!
